Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kontekstual untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Materi Bangun Ruang Sisi Lengkung

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan pembelajaran kontekstual dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada materi bangun ruang sisi lengkung. Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini laksanakan dalam tiga siklus dengan setiap siklus dilakukan observasi terhadap aktivitas guru dan siswa selama pembelajaran, serta dilakukan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran kontekstual dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas IX C tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 dalam mempelajari materi bangun ruang sisi lengkung. Hasil analisis data pada tiga siklus, dari 35 siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar pada pra siklus sebanyak 6 siswa ( 17,14 % ) dengan skor rata-rata 69,3 , siklus I sebanyak 9 siswa (25,71%) dengan skor rata-rata 70,17, siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar pada siklus II sebanyak 24 siswa (68,57%) dengan skor rata-rata 70,86 atau terjadi peningkatan sebesar 42,85 % dari siklus I, dan siklus III terdapat 34 (97,14%) siswa mencapai ketuntasan belajar dengan skor rata-rata 79,06 atau terjadi peningkatan sebesar 71,43 % dari siklus I. Peningkatan pemahaman siswa pada materi bangun ruang sisi lengkung melalui pembelajaran kontekstual secara klasikal tergolong tinggi.
APPLICATION OF CONTEXTUAL LEARNING MODELS TO IMPROVE UNDERSTANDING OF CONTACT SIDE BUILDING MATERIALS

Abstract
This study aims to describe the application of contextual learning in improving students' understanding of the curved side space building material. This classroom action research (CAR) was carried out in three cycles, with each cycle observing teacher and student activities during learning, and evaluating. The results showed that the use of a contextual learning model could improve students' understanding of class IX C for the 2019/2020 academic year in studying the curved side of the building material. The results of data analysis in three cycles, of the 35 students who achieved learning completeness in the pre-cycle were 6 students (17.14%) with an average score of 69.3, in the first cycle there were 9 students (25.71%) with an average score an average of 70.17, students who achieved learning completeness in cycle II were 24 students (68.57%) with an average score of 70.86 or an increase of 42.85% from cycle I, and cycle III there were 34 (97, 14%) students achieved mastery learning with an average score of 79.06 or an increase of 71.43% from cycle I. Increasing students' understanding of the curved side of the building material through contextual learning is classically classified as high.
