Model Discovery Learning untuk Meningkatkan Ketelitian dan Keterampilan Berpikir Tingkat Tinggi Siswa

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan ketelitian dan keterampilan berikir tingkat tinggi siswa dengan penerapan model Discovery Learning. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui teknik tes dan nontes. Teknik nontes dengan observasi dan wawancara sedangkan untuk tes menggunakan soal tes evaluasi. Observasi dan wawancara digunakan untuk memperoleh data ketelitian dan keterampilan tingkat tinggi. Sedangkan tes tertulis dengan soal evaluasi digunakan untuk memperoleh data keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini dengan kuantitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Kanisius Demangan Baru sebanyak 18 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran discovery learning dapat meningkatkan ketelitian dan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata persentase hasil penelitian variabel ketelitian dan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan pada variabel ketelitian dengan persentase kondisi awal 75%, pada siklus I 83,3%, dan pada siklus II 87,5%. Sedangkan pada variabel keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi juga menunjukkan peningkatan dengan hasil rata-rata nilai siswa 75, kemudian pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 80.7, pada siklus II menjadi 84.6.

Abstract
This research was motivated by the low level of accuracy and high-order thinking skills on thematic learning at SD Kanisius Demangan Baru. The purpose of this study was to improve students' accuracy and high-level thinking skills by applying themodel Discovery Learning. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The data in this study were collected through test and non-test techniques. Non-test techniques with observation and interviews, while for the test using evaluation test questions. Observations and interviews are used to obtain thoroughness data and high-level skills. While the written test with evaluation questions was used to obtain data on higher order thinking skills. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive quantitative. The subjects of this study were 18 grade IV students of Kanisius Elementary School in Demangan Baru. The results showed that thelearning model discovery can improve the accuracy and higher order thinking skills. The results showed that the average percentage of the results of the study of the variables of accuracy and high-order thinking skills of students had increased. This is indicated by the increase in the accuracy variable with the percentage of the initial conditions of 75%, in the first cycle 83.3%, and in the second cycle 87.5%. Meanwhile, the high-order thinking skills variable also showed an increase with the average score of 75 students, then in the first cycle it increased to 80.7, in the second cycle it became 84.6.
