Hampir semua negara di seluruh dunia termasuk di Indonesia, telah menutup semua sekolah yang ada untuk menangani pandemi. Namun, hal itu memiliki dampak yang tidak baik pada pembelajaran dan kehadiran siswa di sekolah. Data Learning loss selama diminta untuk tinggal dirumah dan melakukan aktivitas di rumah tanpa keluar rumah pada massa pandemic covid-19 sangat kurang terinformasikan. Sekolah kejuruan yang memiliki karakter berbeda dengan sekolah menengah umum akan sangat mengalami kesulitan, ketika menyampaikan materi berupa praktek kerja. Pembelajaran di sekolah kejuruan 70% praktek kerja dan 30 % teori. Sebagian proses pembelajaran sekolah kejuruan dihabiskan untuk belajar praktek kerja sesuai kompetensi yang diikuti.
